Legee Rice and Noodles

Very good solid dishes that represent Filipino and Cuban cuisines. Some may tag the dishes as being pricey, but considering the rocketing real estate and walkability of the area, it’s understood and the flavors are worth every bite. Note that this is not a “fusion” cuisine as each dish is a pure representation of each culture. Would be good to see a few seasonal dishes or daily specials.

My friend and I had a hard time deciding what to eat as everything smelled and looked amazing.We settled on a plethora of dishes but the croquetas, the mussels, the Ropa Vieja, and the Ox Tail Kare Kare were our favourites of the night.Do yourself a favour and try the Kare Kare with a tiny bit of the fermented shrimp paste if you’ve never had it.Can’t wait to come back to try more.

The space fits about 20 people tops, but it still feels really comfortable. The food is excellent - particularly the fried balls of pork and any of the noodles. It’s BYOB so bring some wine, and they don’t charge a cork fee. Order the ube ice cream even if you’re full - it’s stellar.
